March 18, I was in good company among the world-famous classical composers. The concert included two (!!!) of my compositions for Flute and orchestra, «Aria» and «Colibri» at «To the Glory of Music». It was World Premiere of «Aria»
Quote: Festival «To the Glory of Music» was opened in Pskov Province, Russia. The concert program consisted of works of Russian and foreign classics performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Pskov Regional Philharmonic under the direction of conductor Edward Banko. Music lovers were able to enjoy the masterpieces of M. Glinka, I.S. Bach, A. Dargomyzhsky, M. Mussorgsky, E. Magalif, S. Rachmaninoff and P. Tchaikovsky. 2014-2015 The White House Winter Concert Season was opened with Magalif's Fantasie "Carol of the Bells". On December 4th it was performed twice by "Chesapeake Flute Consort", a Flute Orchestra from Annapolis, MD. On December 10th it was performed by Chesapeake Youth Symphony Senior Flute Ensemble.

Renowned Brazilian flutist James Strauss will be performing the compositions of Eugene Magalif in concerts in Brazil and Ecuador. On Thursday, October 18, 2013 at 8:00pm at the Conservatório Maestro Paulinio in Ponta Grossa, Brazil, Strauss (flute) and Priscila Malanski (piano) will perform Magalif's Niño Lindo, El Condor Pasa, Four Seasons and Serenity, as well as Romeo and Juliet as an encore. On Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 8:00pm at the Clube de la Union in Guayaquil, Ecuador, James Strauss (flute) and Antonio Mazzini (flute) with Iván Fabre (conductor) and the Orquesta de Cámara del Teatro Centro de Arte will perform Eugene Magalif's Tarantella for two flutes and String orchestra with Castanets and Tambourine.
